Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
„Harry Potter i Czara Ognia” (ang. „Harry Potter and
the Goblet of Fire”) jest to już czwarta z kolei część
siedmiotomowego cyklu powieści angielskiej
powieściopisarki Joanne Kathleen Rowling. Jest ona
kontynuacją przygód, już kilkunastoletniego czarodzieja,
Harrego Pottera oraz jego dwójki najbliższych przyjaciół
– Rona i Hermiony. Poprzednie części to: „Harry Potter i
Kamień Filozoficzny” (ang. „Harry Potter and the
Philosopher's Stone”), „Harry Potter i Komnata
Tajemnic”(ang. „Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets”)
oraz “Harry Potter i więzień Azkabanu (ang. “Harry
Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” ). Pierwszy raz
czwarty tom został wydany w 2000 roku w Wielkiej
Brytanii. W Polsce na tą książkę fantasy musieliśmy
czekać ponad rok. Została bowiem wydana dopiero 29
września 2001 roku (przetłumaczona przez Andrzeja
Polkowskiego). Czwarty tom zawiera 787 stron. W tej
części pojawia się sporo nowych postaci. Są to między
innymi: Barty Crouch, Barty Crouch Jr., Fleur Delacour,
Gabrielle Delacour, Wiktor Krum, Cedrik Diggory,
Szalonooki Moody, Igor Karkarow oraz Amos Diggory . Oto

także zekranizowana oraz wydano grę komputerową o takim
samym tytule. Kolejna, piąta już część przygód młodego
czarodzieja będzie nosiła tytuł Harry Potter i Zakon
Feniksa (ang. Harry Potter and the Order of the
Phoenix).
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
“Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” is the novel that has been written by Joanne “Jo” Rowling. It is the fourth novel in the series of the adventures of a young wizard, Harry Potter. “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” was published in 2000. This book won a Hugo Award in 2000. Five years later, which means in 2005 “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” was made into a movie. The film was released in November 2005. There is one interesting thing about this book. “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” was earlier called “Harry Potter and the Doomspell Tournament”. The writer, Joanne Rowling explained in Entertainment Weekly interview why she decided to change the title. “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” was the first novel in the Harry Potter series that was released on 8 July 2000 in the United States of America and the United Kingdom. It was really big surprise because three previous novels were released in the United Kingdom couple months earlier than in United States.
